and engineered in Japan, Savannah Professional Knives are manufactured
to comply with the strict Japanese manufacturing standards.
Handles are manufactured from
silicone-impregnated laminated Pakka wood: a hard-wearing and beautiful
hard wood. It is naturally moisture resistant and the added silicone
makes the handle impervious to water and food acids
Each Savannah knife has had its edge honed by hand by a master
craftsman, utilising the ancient Japanese sharpening technique used for
sharpening Samurai Swords, and is etched with the “Samurai Sharpening”
signature. A feature of traditional Samurai swords is the long, highly
polished edges, and our knives boast this same feature, making them not
only beautiful, but also incredibly sharp and durable. In fact, we
guarantee that these will be the sharpest knives out of the box.
