Cookshop Plus, located in the heart of West Hartford Center, is a family-owned and operated independent retailer specializing in gourmet kitchenware and homewares.

Established in Bowral, New South Wales, Australia, in 2002, Cookshop Plus has been owned and managed by Joanne and Terry Ryan since 2004. The original Bowral location continues to serve customers in Australia.

Cookshop Plus Bowral has received numerous accolades, including the prestigious Global Innovators Award from the International Housewares Association in Chicago, in recognition of its excellence in retailing on both local and international stages.

About the Owners

The West Hartford store represents a significant milestone in the Ryan and Hines families' journey. After years of successfully operating the Bowral location and making numerous buying trips to the U.S., Terry and Joanne Ryan passed the torch to their daughter, Samantha, and her husband, James Hines. Having expanded their expertise and experience in the business, the entire family was eager to embark on a new and exciting challenge.
