Culinary Kids: Taco Sunday Supper Junior Cooking Class  - with Chef Joe Mele

 Share your passion for cooking by treating your kids to a culinary experience they’ll never forget. The kids will enjoy working alongside classmates learning to make a selection of our favorite Summer bakes. Your junior chef will gain confidence in the kitchen as our instructor will cover baking fundamentals such as reading recipes, the importance of kitchen safety, as well as more advanced techniques.

What To Expect: Great cooking is about more than recipes - it's about techniques. In our classes you'll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.

• Classes are capped at 10 students to provide intimate learning environment

Class Type: Hands On - Roll up your sleeves and get ready to chop, mix and knead your way through each recipe. Our classes are open to all skill levels 

Skill Level:  Entry / Intermediate

Age:  10-18 years of age - This class has been designed for juniors

Drop Off / Pick-Up: Parents or caregivers are required to stay with their child until the class begins. Students will not be released until a parent or caregiver is present to collect them at the end of the class. Our junior classes are designed for students only, so parents and caregivers are not involved in the class activities. However, they are welcome to wait in the retail space during the session.

Seats: Seating available - You will be standing for the majority of the class

Small Classes: Get all of the personal attention and guidance you need thanks to capped class size, where you will work individually & part of a team.

Things To Know:

• Class runs 2.5 - 3 hours (unless otherwise stated)
• We ask you try and arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the classes scheduled start time, this helps us begin on time
• This hands-on class is limited to 10 students
• You will be standing and working for most of the class
• Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back
• We will contact you a few days prior to your class as a reminder
